Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten New To Me Authors I Read In 2013

Hello readers!
I am so sorry that I have been a little MIA lately on the blog. I've had my Christmas exams the past week and a bit, so I've been studying a lot. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of time for reading but I'm happy with my exam results so far.
I will be more active from now on as the stress has been lifted for now!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book related meme hosted over at the Broke and The Bookish blog. Click here to go to the blog & Click here to see their schedule of TTT themes.
This weeks theme is Top Ten New To Me Authors I Read in 2013
My Choices:

George RR Martin, A Song of Ice and Fire series.

I've only read the first three novels in his epic series but they are all amazing. Hope to continue with the series soon. Click the book covers to go to the reviews.

Aimee Carter, Blackcoat Rebellion series- Pawn.
Pawn is the first novel I have ever read by the Goddess Trilogy author. It has only recently been released. Click the book cover to go to my review.
Laure Eve, Fearsome Dreamer.

Fearsome Dreamer is Laure's first novel and it was so very good. I would definitely recommend it. Click here to go to the review.

Samantha Shannon, The Bone Season.
The Bone Season is Samatha Shannon's debut novel and it was amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. Click the book cover to see my review.
Matthew Quick, Forgive Me Leonard Peacock.

Forgive Me Leonard Peacock was the first Matthew Quick novel I have read. He is famous for The Silver Linings Playbook but this book was fantastic. Click the book cover to visit the review.

Sally Gardner, Tinder & Maggot Moon.

I read Maggot Moon in the summer and I have just finished Tinder. Both were very good but I think I preferred Maggot Moon. Click the books covers to see the reviews of both books.

Kiera Cass, The Selection series.

Kiera Cass is one of those authors who takes you by surprise and instantly becomes a favourite. I love her Selection series so very much. Click the book covers to see my reviews.
P.s I am so freaking excited for The One !!!!

Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, Beautiful Creatures.

I have only read the first book in the dynamic duos series but I really enjoyed it.

David Levithan, Dash & Lilys Book of Dares, An Abundance of Katherines, Boy Meets Boy.

I had never read a David Levithan book before and in 2013 I read three of his novels! Click the book covers to go to the reviews.

Dawn O' Porter, Paper Aeroplanes.

I fell in love with Dawn O' Porters debut novel about two young girls developing a friendship and dealing with problems. Absolutely loved it . Click the books cover to see the review.

  1. I totally forgot that David Levithan wrote Dash and Lily's Book of Dares. I was telling someone the other day that I've only read one book by him... and well now I guess I've read 2! Matthew Quick made my list too! I loved Leonard Peacock... and I read Silver Linings and didn't LOVE it, but thought it was still good. I also really want to read Pawn. I wasn't thrilled with The Goddess Test, but for some reason Pawn just seems like something I would like.
